Edgewater Networks Offers New SMB/SOHO VoIP VPN Routers

Edgewater Networks has introduced a new series of VoIP/VPN routers for small-and medium-sized businesses, designed to integrate VoIP and VPN services, and provide WAN management for multiple locations. The 4500 series routers support call management and traffic shaping, to provide optimal WAN access for VoIP calls; include a stateful packet inspection firewall, and also support IPsec encryption.
The Edgemark 4500 router features a single 10/100 Mbps WAN port and four 10/100 LAN ports, 2 USB ports and can manage up to 16 VLANs simultaneously. The 4500 can also manage 2, 8, 16 or 24 concurrent encrypted VoIP calls.
The Edgemark 4500T4 routers feature an integrated T1 CSU/DSU unit and can manage up to 4 T1 lines. The router also provides a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet WAN port and four 10/100 LAN ports.
The 4500 series also includes the 4508T4 and 4508T4W routers which provide T1 support for up to four lines, six FXS ports and two FXO ports. The 4508T4W is WiFi enabled and supports 802.11 a, b and g standards.
